Portrait Session
A photo enrichment program that teaches kids to see differently
Weekly on Wednesdays
4th–6th grade
Led by United Parent, Flora Hanitijo—photographer, director, and trusted photography educator whose work is featured widely in national and international media
Students will explore the big question “Who am I?” through photography, art, and storytelling. They’ll learn how to use a camera, work with light, and express themselves creatively through portraits, collage, and mixed media. By the end, each student will create a final self portrait artwork that shows who they are inside and out — and how they see the world. .
