Image Making
An fresh way to make images through experimentation
Wednesdays, 2:40-5:30pm
4th–5th grade
Led by Artist/ illustrator Edwina White
Edwina will meet work with 10 students to shake up their ways of making art.
Let's loosen up to make fresh images-by experimenting with surrealist prompts, playing with observational drawing, and working with paper collage. We will use alternate papers and mix our media, with fast and slow exercises to create works to build a portfolio.
The plan is to spend a little time outside at the playground, gathering ideas and exploring the neighborhood.
School pickup is available for Arts and Letters only. Kids should bring a snack and water bottle.
There will be a Show and Tell exhibition for the final Image Making class that will kick off at 5pm at the Makers Clubhouse.
